The Surface:
The exterior is finished with my own recipe of pale matte pinkish-red Terra Sigillata ("sealed earth"). Hand-carved with circular lines to create a gentle movement. Terra sig is an ancient technique that imparts a soft sheen and a velvety texture, a unique egg-shell touch unlike standard glazes. A final layer of Liquid Quartz is applied to ensure durability and protection.
The Interior:
Finished with a clear glaze, making this vase 100% watertight and functional.

Fired to cone 04 on cream Laguna clay.
